How I can help you win
Identifying leaks
each player is unique, but there are some common leaks that are keeping a lot of players from reaching their full potential. I will help you quickly analyze your game and find areas for improvement. This way, we can work on eliminating the biggest and most costly issues first, so you can see an immediate improvement in your results.
Theory and general strategy
I will teach you the most important concepts you need to know from the technical game strategy.
Database analysis and review
I will show you how to make the most out of your hand tracking software. Having the cold hard data is the best ways to assess your game and quickly find areas for improvement.
Mental game
This is probably the biggest hurdle to overcome for most aspiring poker players. There’s a lot more to winning poker than knowing which hands to play in which position. Learning the strategy aspect of poker is the easy part. The hard part is coming to terms with variance and neverending downswings that are an integral part of the game.
Hand history review
The best way to learn is through your own direct experience. By analysing the hands you’ve played, we can quickly spot and eliminate potential leaks in your game. Also, doing hand histories is a great way to improve your decision making process, and prepares you to hand read better when you actually play poker.
Variance
I will teach you how to spot variance and recognize it for what it really is: a crucial part of the game that makes poker profitable in the first place. We’ll also discuss how to prepare for and handle variance so it doesn’t have a detrimental effect on your results.
Game tape review
Watching the game tape or even watching you play in real time has the same benefits like hand history review, except the feedback is immediate.

Here's what some of my clients have to say
“I highly recommend Fran as a poker coach. In the few months I’ve worked with him, he has transformed my game for the positive. I am more profitable and more comfortable at the table after working with him. He understands poker in depth and, more importantly for a coach, he understands how to effectively communicate his knowledge of poker to other people. He is generous in spirit and with his time. If you want to get better at the microstakes, you should work with Fran.”
Gregg M., Georgia
“Fran has been an exceptional coach who from the first lesson instilled belief and confidence in my game. He is highly knowledgeable of both cash and tournament play and if you listen and apply what he teaches you, your win rate will increase. He is easily accessible and will always respond to any questions. Highly recommended.”
David M., Bermuda
“I started playing poker recently and I didn’t want to take up a hobby where you risk money without knowing what I was doing. I contacted Fran and he has made me the best player in my local area in a short amount of time. I’m also a profitable online tournament and cash player and I am aiming to be a pro eventually.”
Ross F., UK
“I have been a student of Fran’s for over 3 months now and I can confidently say my game has improved massively in all areas in this short time. I was a small winner at NL5 when we began. Through weekly sessions I have grown in all areas of my game which is now enabling me to win at NL10 with the potential to go further up the stakes than I thought possible.
After an initial assessment of my game and style, Fran worked through my leaks in hand history reviews and live play sessions, explaining other options that can be taken as hands played out. This is also followed up with a lesson review that I use during my poker sessions in the week to keep me on track.
Fran is a cool and very approachable guy who explains and breaks down strategy in a way that I would not get from a book. I enjoy and look forward to each session and I see them now as a key tool to my future success in the game.”
Bryson W., UK
“Ever since I got in touch with Fran to get help with my poker journey, I was pleasantly surprised. He knew from the start how to approach a new player such as myself and I always felt comfortable asking questions. After a few sessions together I can confidently say Fran is the real deal and I look forward to many more sessions together in the future. I would highly recommend him to anyone.”
Monica C., Romania
“Fran is an outstanding coach with excellent communication skills. He explained the tight and aggressive strategy in a clear, step-by-step way which allowed me to improve my poker game significantly after just a few lessons. Fran also provided notes and articles following each lesson, which were extremely helpful.
As a new poker player, I compared Fran’s approach to other books and internet poker resources, and none were as effective as his. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed!”

FAQ
Do I really need a coach to beat the microstakes?
That depends entirely on you. If you want to improve your poker game, there’s plenty of resources available, like articles, books, videos, online courses and so on. However, coaching is the most effective way to improve quickly because it’s tailored exclusively to you and your own personal needs and preferences. Also, the immediate feedback and support is something you can’t get through other means, which makes coaching a better option for players who want to improve quickly.
